Golf and sports marketing · Albuquerque, New Mexico

Find the story.
Make it matter.

I’m Clay Adelizzi. I run marketing and communications for four golf organizations in New Mexico.

From the course
to the inbox.

I cover the event on site, then write it up and send it to members the same day.

Where I work now

I work for four golf organizations under one roof.

Sun Country Golf House in New Mexico is home to all four. I handle their marketing and communications, and I’m on site through the season.

  • Sun Country Amateur Golf Association

I write the member newsletter and produce Amateur Edge.

  • Sun Country PGA Section

I cover the Section’s championships and keep its web pages current.

  • Sun Country Junior Tour

I photograph the events and write the season recaps.

  • Sun Country Golf Foundation

I tell the stories behind PGA HOPE and the youth programs.

Tell the story

I write the recaps and features, and I interview the players and pros.

Make the work

I shoot the photos and cut the video that go with each story.

Get it out the door

I publish it on the website and in the member email, on deadline.

A little about me.

I’m based in New Mexico, with roots outside Philadelphia and a background in sports, marketing, and event operations. I like work that gets me close to the people behind the story.
